Wineyards, laughter and Fun summed up this whole wedding of David and Wylie’s in Buranco Vineyard (Monterosso), Cinque Terre. Both Australians who were living in London at the time they decided to tie the knot, they just had to flew all the way to Italy for their perfect wedding!
Having visited Cinque Terre years earlier, David wanted to bring Wylie back to experience the amazing scenery and coastal walks. When they visited Buranco Vineyard in 2014 (not long after becoming engaged), they knew this is exactly where they wanted to get married! So guests flew from all over the world to be with them on their special day – and it was a very beautiful and intimate affair! Join La Bride and Julian Kanz the photographer to take a sneak peek into their wedding!
Half naked cheers from the men’s team and a couple of selfies from the ladies brought this day together at the very beginning. Each had their preparations done, whether making up, showering etc. It was a special day, so not a slight bit of negligence was to be made for this very perfect day! Orange suspenders were seen lurking as gifts before David donned on his navy suit with an impressing black checkered bow tie.
Wylie was in tears with her bridesmaid reading out the meaningful greetings sent from David. It soon broke out into hard laughter when she found her presents from David.
Her wedding dress from Belfast, Northern Ireland was designed by Anna Campbell. Comfortable fitting, offering a low-cut neckline that is detailedly beaded with leaf-like patterns around the hem. Straps of extra fabric were to be creatively tied around her dress at the waist adding a different twist. To allow a contrast, her bridesmaid had black dresses on while the bridal bouquet consisted of white flowers.
When it came for them to meet. Wylie was helped through the entrance door by her bridesmaid and she is seen happily holding the bridal bouquet all set to meet her lovely groom.
The walk up might be tiring. But, for the marriage, anything is worth it! Passing by seas, mountains and finally reaching the main venue, she noticed her groom who was biting his lips in nervousness.
They gathered in front of the audience and the marriage celebrant read his part before passing the mike for them to read their vows. Their parents gazed alongside fondly, pure happiness emanated from within. Needless to say, they were happy for this union. David and Wylie are about to start their own family. A huge step that blossoms from love!
Tears were wiped. Hands were held. Rings were exchanged before a kiss erupted! Leaving the site together now as a couple, they were greeted with flower petals, looking tremendously excited and happy.
Look at this funny expression!
Our bride is a funny one here! Full of weird expressions.
They then continued with more photos of the scene, not allowing a single site to be wasted. More pictures of them in embraces and kisses soon followed, making this album honeyed – tinted.
The reception was held in a lawn like area on the vineyard. The tables carefully arranged in a U-shape to allow all guests to mingle friendly.
Everything was decorated in white. From candles, stationery to flowers against crystal glasses, everything was pure white,, even the furnitures too!
Everyone toasted to the couple and speeches were delivered blessing them again for this union.
When all food are down, it was time for a dance. Here, our couple strutted into a dance. In heels and in her gown, Wylie was not at all having a hard time in getting her moves right. Spins and spins proved that.
Long exposure revealed more crazy moves from the bride and from the guests themselves. Everyone was having a great deal of fun. It was a day to celebrate and no one was declaring unfit, tired or giving in into that.
Thanks again to David and Wylie for this awesome wedding to add into our list. All the best and happy marriage!
