When Should I Send Out My Wedding Invitations?
Your invitations should be mailed out 6 to 8 weeks prior to the wedding. If you are having a destiation wedding, you can extend that to 12 weeks. How Many Extra Copies of Invitations Should I Order?
I recommend ordering 10% more invitations that the number of guest addresses you have on your list. So, if you have 100 addresses, then order 110 invitations. These extra invitations can be for last minute additions to your guest list, keepsakes and if any invitations are returned in the mail, you will have a fresh one to mail back out to the guest.
