“I don’t want the heavens or the shooting stars. I don’t want gemstones or gold. I have those things already. I want… a steady hand. A kind soul.” – Shana Abe
La bride has on display the image story by Samantha Ong Photography. The union of Trang & Tung took place in exotic sites around Melbourne, beginning from the couple’s homes to the well-decored reception venue.
With a combination of traditional and innovative practices, the couple made their wedding a day worth looking back to always! Unlike a secluded, private affair, this wedding was spread out on a large canvas, encompassing family get-togethers and romantic photo session.
The mischievous sneak-peek of a young girl, the shy smile of a young boy, some fireworks, loads of happiness and love; this wedding had it all. Tung had found his better half, a partner in crime and a lover in this world so it was time to begin this journey with offerings to God and sharing laughter among their families.
The colorful blossoms, attires and blooming smiles were portraying the liveliness of the hearts involved in the story. For Trang, it was the day love was coming to her doorstep, with flowers and a heart full of lovely emotions meant just for her. She opened her heart to embrace it fully and embellished herself with the color of love, red; a gown done in silk, net and lace with a unique Vietnamese hat.
The aroma of flowery fragrances wafted in the air and the whole ambiance was pleasant to the senses. With translucent gowns in colors as delicate as a lover’s touch, high heels, and accessories to accentuate the outlook, it was time for the bride to don a jaw-dropping look. The rise of her brow, glossy lips and sparkling eyes were the teller of her untold emotions. With the lightest drop of her lashes, the world seemed to come to a halt and the only sight that remained was of her, a figure of innocence and serenity. The makeup artist Kevin Tran Hair & Makeup artistically entwined blends from the dark woods with the rosy shades on her face, keeping it close to natural and enhancing the youthfulness of her features.
The model of femininity, though howsoever bold, gets sentimental on the day of uniting with her partner. Even for Trang & Tung, the story of love was the same the transition of faces, rituals and events; love never gets old.
The urgency and enduring wait made the union sweeter. Set on the shore of the lake in the Footscray Park was an archway draped with curtain and hanging blossoms. Family and friends were there to be a part of such a memorable day in the couple’s life. Conifers, mimosa, money plant and all the inhabitations of the shore were in harmony with the episode of love about to unfold in front of them. From that day on, 27th March would no longer be just another day for Trang & Tung; for them, it would be the day on which their love got beautified through marriage. They were not there to repeat some forever-known vows, but for the passion that had driven their souls to be united in a sacred relation as that of marriage. The vows channelized to the world the way the two felt for each other inwardly.
A smile is the best jewellery a woman can wear; Trang made the most of it with her rosy lips and glowing face. Adorned with baby’ breath in honey brown hairs, Trang was Rapunzel walking away with her prince, Tung, with a train of tulle and net drifting behind her with an effortless grace. From the swift gliding of a swan on the wedding aisle to the graceful twirling of a ballerina on the dance floor, Trang stole the show to fullest. Tung with his squad of best men resembled a detective 007, all posing next to the high school girlies, Trang and her bridesmaids. There was something adoringly sweet about the way Trang moulded herself to Tung in the couple’s secluded moments and the way both complemented each other infront of the world.
The reception was nothing short of majestic! Amidst the fountains of fireworks they danced, holding each others’ gaze, making the onlookers go “awww” at this sight, full of confidence and clarity about their new life ahead.
La bride has placed another successful love story on the shelf with new characters and a never-changing love.
