Bryan and Tracy are two individuals up for an engagement session. Two outfits were used for the entire session, one more formal and another more casual. Brought to you by Tyler Vu Photography, these photos of them together in San Francisco as a couple show their beautiful chemistry together and how awesome their smiles are in photos all with a beautiful backdrop! So head on for more juicy details!
Bryan and Tracy first noticed each other at a concert in September 2012. All they had were few mutual friends since both belonged to separate groups. There wasn’t an introduction, so nothing happened at first. They just both figured they’d run into each other again sometime.
Fast forward to February 16, 2013, Tracy’s friend and bridesmaid, Sandra invited her to a birthday party. It was there where Bryan and Tracy were formally introduced. They spent all evening talking, but when the night was over, Bryan simply left with a bye. However, a few days later, Tracy received Facebook and Instagram requests from Bryan (ah, gotta love social media!). After that incident, Bryan began messaging Tracy and after a few weeks, on March 7 , they had their first date.
In the Fall of 2015, Tracy and Bryan went on a European vacation. It was not simply a trip to visit family and travel with friends, but a trip that changed their lives. The itinerary: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Valencia, and Ibiza. Little did Tracy know, Bryan was planning the perfect moment to propose – but when? And how?
On September 7, 2015, after checking in to their Airbnb apartment, they were off to sight-see and experience Paris!
Tracy and Bryan spent hours walking and hopping on and off the Paris Métropolitain train. They visited the Arc De Triomphe, Avenue des Champs-Elysees, Ladurée Royale bakery, Notre dame Cathedral, and The Louvre museum. All the site-seeing in one day was exhausting and after lunch, the question was asked, “Should we keep going and see the Eiffel Tower? Or head back to the Airbnb to rest and see the Eiffel Tower tonight?” Both were tired and decided to rest.
After napping for a few hours, at around 10:30 PM , Tracy and Bryan finally made it to the Eiffel Tower. While standing under the Eiffel Tower, Tracy thought to herself this would be a perfect moment for someone to propose. But it looked like this wasn’t going to happen.
At 11 o’clock , the Eiffel Tower started to light up and do its flickering lights dance. Finally – this was Bryan’s perfect moment – it was now or never. While facing the Eiffel Tower, Bryan reached for the ring in his jacket pocket. (Side note, Bryan has been carrying this 3 carat cubic zirconia ring for almost five days now. He can finally stop worrying about losing it although actually the real diamond ring was safe at home.)
Anyway, back to the proposal. Bryan was waiting for that perfect moment, that moment alone on the bridge. As Tracy was taking photos of the tower, Bryan pointed at it with his finger and said, “Hey, what is that?!” Tracy looked and noticed there was something shiny on Bryan’s finger.
“WAIT. WHAT? WHAT IS THAT? WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” – Tracy exclaimed.
At that moment, Bryan got down on one knee, placed the ring on Tracy’s finger, and asked her to marry him. Tracy was silent and in shock. Funny thing was, Bryan was a shy fellow. For fear of getting robbed and making a scene, Bryan stood up. To this, Tracy said, “What are you doing? I didn’t say anything. Why are you getting up?”…
Strolling near the San Fransisco Bridge, they stumbled upon splashes of water. Just in time to avoid this splashes, they had some beautiful shots of the bridge with some volatile water! For some sunny shots, they went to the woods nearby. With the sun shimmering at and angle, it was beautiful volumetric rays shining through the entire scene.
Later on that evening, both switched into a different outfit. With a pink shirt and a sweater for Bryan and a black and matching pink tulle skirt for Tracy. Look at this romantic kiss action by Bryan, the Romeo! Maybe he was not that shy after all during the proposal, or well maybe he gained a boost of confidence after he managed to propose to Tracy!
Tracy’s heels look solid yet feminine, bringing out a hard edge as a contrast to the softness of her dress. For Bryan, his casual yet sleek watch do justice. As he lifted up his khaki grey pants however, you can catch a glimpse of cuteness. Red and cartoonish. A sight one would not expect to see! His socks were so striking, you couldn’t help noticing the small fish-like figures on them.
Some cheerful and touching pictures were shot on a bridge overlooking the San Francisco bridge further behind. In wooden planks of red and white, they offset a kid-like version of the San Francisco, bringing off a less than serious tone to these pictures. But wait till night shows up, what seemed like a miniature like bridge became a cosy spot under the illuminating pink and blue sunset and the grandeur of the San Francisco bridge can be seen in a beautiful silhouette.
Thanks again to this lovely couple for some insightful shots of their engagement session in San Francisco. And all the best to their upcoming wedding ahead!
