‘Romance isn’t Dead’ theme styled wedding shoot at Mont Du Soleil is based on the idea that love is not only about the big things, it is also about putting efforts into doing the little things. The name of the theme is perfectly in sync with the thought i.e. Romance isn’t Dead.
Known for their out of the box style and theme based wedding shoots, the Sephory Photography know it well how stressful things can be for a couple. The stress of planning a wedding can be overwhelming, as a result, a lot of couples do not slow down since they are still stressed out over wedding planning. Thus they envisioned this shoot to remind couples to enjoy every bit of their day, slow down and bask in it.
Inspired by the lives of the photographers – who are a couple – Desa, one half of them explains:
“The idea just came from our expression of love for one another. We are two big love birds so we wanted to tell a beautiful story through our own lens.”
The pictures of yellow peach walls, ancient gold details, wild blue tones, rich texture of wood and cobblestone and striking views of an open winery, were the perfect milieu to tell this beautiful love story.
This shoot was done in Mont Du Soleil, Australia in the heart of the Victorian Ranges, a perfect spot because of the view of the Yarra Valley and warm ambiance as a result of the perfect sun rays. Using a vibrant palette of blush pink, pure white, gentle pastel hue and natural greenery, a perfect French-European romantic look was achieved. The mesmerizing flower arrangements by Lashay Florist was really eye striking and Cake by Mary Eats Cake was amazing.
The storyline of the shoot as told by the style team goes as follows, “We depicted a story of a couple embarking on their wedding day.
The bride gracefully wakes up on her special day to gorgeous fresh roses specially handpicked by the man she is set to spend the rest of her life with. Next to it, breakfast in bed and a cute handwritten note prompting her to meet him outside when she’s ready. Upon seeing him, she is serenaded with a guitar. They spend a moment together soaking in one another’s admiration for each other, before taking a moment to sit down for an elegant high tea soiree.”
The slow dance, walk towards the ceremony and the whole setup was beautiful and dreamy. It is for sure that all that would not have been possible without the amazing team that worked tirelessly with each other. The bride looked stunning in the wedding dress by Raffaele Ciuca Bridal and jewelry by Love on Jewellery while Suzy Sela Makeup handled her makeup and hair. The Bride wore the dress by Helen Constance Bride. Everything was perfect, right From wedding invitations by B Wedding Invitations, the Menu and Place Cards from Adorn Invitations and stationary by Catsy Creative. Intank Printing was the in charge of all printing related work. This shoot is utterly a dreamy styled shoot.
