Our couple for today, Mika and Tsubasa are two Japanese individuals in love with the idea of a romantic elopement in faraway lands. Captured by Studio Fotografico Bacci, they settled their civil ceremony in the wine cellar of the Agritourism Fattoria Lavacchio (in the heart of Tuscan Countryside) and an intimate couple photo session in Florence Town.
The whole wedding album is a theme dedicated to Mika, Tsubasa’s wife. The idea came when our photographer saw the underlying love that Tsubasa had for his wife. He was constantly taking care of her and she was as strong as a mountain yet delicate as a bird.
The whole wedding had a very classic aura. Even in photos, monochrome moods are used to depict the events that happen, creating a timeless masterpiece of elegance and beauty. Although the civil ceremony was in January, the weather was in favour of them. Blue sky and spring temperatures cleared the day. It was a charming civil ceremony in the farm cellars; occasionally accompanied with a whiff of the Tuscan wine aroma and the delightful view of the Tuscan countryside all around. Similar to country towns in Japan, the leisure atmosphere just makes Tuscany a typical country wedding destination that’s absolutely perfect for this duo.
Among the huge and suggestive wine barrels, the civil ceremony started. Reading off their vows, exchanging their rings and Tsubasa lifting the veil, each moment was pivotal to the whole ceremony. It was intense and emotional, with lots of laughter and tears of joy. An elopement overseas usually means that your guests might not be able to celebrate the on the spot moment with you, but your spouse will receive the full attention and the marriage will be more intimate.
After the ceremony, Mika and Tsubasa wanted to do some photos in Florence… “Some” photos is an understatement because in the end, these two spent two hours of photoshooting! The long hours did not seem to make them tired as they were exceptionally happy doing these photos, and when a couple is pleased the photos are super!
Ending with a dramatic flair, ‘ you are the wave that upsets my life’, this album is truly a beautiful dedication from Tsubasa to Mika. Let’s wish them all the best in the journey ahead.
