Vangelis Photography take us into this simply wonderful wedding of Karl and Beatrice, in Lebanon. They met one day in September and three months later they were deeply in love.
This wedding is simple and elegant. It breathes life with notions of poetry, and romance in a wonderful setting. Every detail is a part of the story, part of their story. Karl and Beatrice invited the guests to come into their own magical world and celebrated with them till dawn.
The day starts early for preparations as this wedding will go on way onto the night.
The stunning natural wildflower arrangements reflect the nature of this event. Fun, carefree and full of life!
With around 200 friends, in Saint Anthony Monastry courtyard, among Lebanese cedar trees, the ceremony took place. A serene yet joyful spirit reigned over the place while the guests listened to Karl and Beatrice exchanging their vows. The surrounding natural scenery, ornamented with some wooden and floral elements, transcended up to a piece of heavenly beauty, and indulged everyone in a blissful spiritual bond with the new family being created.
Karl and Beatrice describe it this way…….
“It took three months for the Universe to feel smaller…She fell in love with him, he went under her spell. Spring started. Five years later, they said yes in their enchanted hometown “Tannourine”, and vowed to love each other a little more every day”.
Following the ceremony, the guests headed to “Il Ponte Grande di Tannourini” to celebrate with the newlyweds in a very unique and impressive open air reception by the river. The abandoned ruins were literally transformed by the couple to a real-life enchanted forest. Art and nature were alive in every corner from the altar to the dancing floor.
On the drums’ beats, they crossed the Roman bridge that leads to the venue, saluted the crowds who gathered in a spontaneous parade. Two friends and the bride’s father shared their funny and intimate memories and thoughts of the occasion.
And then, surrounded by amigos, family, and live band, Karl and Beatrice danced all night till the stars fell down.
