What is a Same Day Edit? Is it recommended?

A same day edit is when the videographer(s) do a quick edit on a laptop do display at your wedding on the wedding day. No, I personally don’t recommend them because (in my opinion), a true filmmaker wants the time to go through the footage properly and select the absolute best shots from your day, adjust color properly, stabilize shaky footage and mix the audio properly. A same day edit is rushed and not the best way to display what should be an elegant piece of your wedding day. A Hollywood movie trailer isn’t cut together in one day and neither should your wedding film.
