Laura Barbera Photography brings us a delightful wedding piece of Elise and Howard. Everything happened by chance when she was contacted by a wedding planner who was looking for a wedding photographer in Florence. What emerged in her photos was a series of intense love and joy of Elise and Howard, with their wedding held at Villa il Paradisino.
The 4 hour service started with clear blue skies and dreamy cotton clouds refreshing the warm air. White chairs and flowers were all over the venue and Elise was preparing with her sister who made her makeup and combed her. With an unusual hairdo with a long braid to the side, Elise was all smiles, eager to walk down to her groom.
Meanwhile, the children waited in the garden ready to launch their rose petals on the bride. When Elise finally arrived at the symbolic altar, all the guests were moved and it was obvious that Howard couldn’t hold back his excitement. Everything was beautiful; the bride and the groom, the place of the ceremony and the guests all dressed in white or black.
Formal and proper, Elise and Howard stand before their marriage celebrant, read their vows before they exchange their rings. A symbol to everlasting love and commitment, Elise and Howard were more than prepared for their lives ahead together as husband and wife. Melodious notes from the harp strings rang throughout the ceremony.
Finally they are married! With a warm hug, Elise and Howard greeted their audience. Bubbles were blown, more hugs were exchanged between guests and the overall atmosphere was a jubilant one.
After the ceremony, while the guests celebrated drinking Prosecco, Elise and Howard wanted to take some couple photos in the villa’s garden before returning to celebrate and eat with their friends. Making use of the beautiful sceneries, Elise and Howard were the sweetest couple in all of the photos. In their beautiful smiles and grins, you get the warm sense of home, what with them being in the right arms. Emotional touches and closeup of their expression further reveal their love and passion for each other.
The reception started just as beautifully in the courtyard. Although the guests weren’t many, it was a tightly knitted group. Cheers were given all over the table and the newlyweds were more than welcome to the family. It was a start of a new bond, with a new addition to both sides.
It is difficult to describe the feeling of joy mixed with excitement when you see how beautiful and smiling bride and groom were and all the guests were: two Norwegian guys with two beautiful children, two tender and excited families, and a group of lively and entertaining friends. Thanks again to Elise and Howard for the beautiful wedding they share with us.
