We don’t know what it is, but there is just something so magical and awe-inspiring about the city of London. Now add in a stunning engagement shoot, the Big Ben clock tower of Westminster Abbey, and a crisp autumn day, and we can’t even handle it! The talented photographer behind Divine Day Photography says that she aims to “cover the day with a variety of perspectives and using a variety of lenses, telling the story of the day with much personality and love.” We know that all photographers strive for the best, but we love hearing it when they are over-the-moon passionate about what they do! Their passion truly transpires to the couple in love.
For this particular shoot, Chloe wrote to the photographer all the way from Singapore, asking if she was available to capture these gorgeous engagement photos of her and Ju. Divine Day Photography says she received a photo of the couple, and she “instantly felt like a lucky wedding photographer!” Because seriously, take one look at Chole and Ju and you can just feel the love, romance, and true connection radiating from their beings.
Over the past couple of years, autumn affairs have been considered a lead-runner for the new trending wedding season — and we know exactly why! There is less chance of rain, it is a perfect temperature, and the changing colours of the leaves make for a gorgeous backdrop. The photographer behind Divine Day Photography says that she really loves to give a sense of locality, atmospheric conditions, as well as the season. We couldn’t agree more — as the bride and groom, you choose the season and location for a reason— so we love it when a photographer recognises this and does their best to incorporate the atmosphere and surroundings into every moment.
Although it was a chilly day in London, the sun was shining, and Chloe and Ju couldn’t have done a better job with choosing their location or their photographer. Their comfort with one another and themselves truly turns these photos into memories that they will cherish forever.
Referring to the chilly temperatures, the photographer says “[Chloe] never complained once. Even when she spilled hot chocolate all over the dress and we poured water over the frock to remove it…cold and wet!” Thanks you both for making this an amazing day creating your engagement photographs!
