Adorn Invitations and On Three Photography bring us a memorable Melbourne wedding of a couple, Anjie and Angelo for today. Their ceremony was held in All Saints Anglican Church St Kilda while their reception was held in the International of Brighton – Georgian Room. When it came to the style that they were looking for their wedding, they weren’t too fussed, as they just knew they wanted something that was elegant and graceful.
Meeting online might not be what these two individuals expect when it comes to finding the right one. But it did happen for them! At that time, online dating wasn’t as common as it is now, so Anjie honestly wasn’t expecting to meet anyone. Angelo and Anjie completely hit it off and when the connection is just there, it doesn’t really matter where it is you happen to meet.
Anjie obtained her wedding gown and accessories from Eternal Weddings Camberwell. She wanted something traditional and timeless for her wedding dress. After trying on a few, she chose a mermaid fitting dress that she believes looked most beautiful on her. This dress not only embodies that air of elegance every bride seeks, it gives her the sense of accomplishment when choosing it. Just like they say, when you try on the right dress, you just know that you have to make it yours. Their jewellery was purchased from LoveOn Jewellery, her makeup and hair was from Magical Makeovers while her heels was from Jeanette Maree Jewellery. Not to forget Kellee Flowers who provided the lovely cream bouquet for Anjie!
The romantic proposal took place during their one year anniversary. During that time, Angelo surprised Anjie with a stay at Crown Metropol. One night, he simply got down on one knee and proposed in the hotel room. It was the most precious moments of her life as for someone who wants a rather overdone public proposal, she was grateful for hers – it was intimate, real and magical.
All Saints Anglican Church St Kilda became their picked venue. Anji was elated on her special day because it was everything she imagined and more for her sophisticated wedding with her nearest and dearest. As soon as Anjie and Angelo saw it, they knew that All Saints was the perfect fit and it was actually the first place they visited! After that, they couldn’t look past it – the service was second to none and they felt relaxed throughout the entire process.
The Georgian Room at the International of Brighton was a beautiful hall that sparkles with elegance with its beige like walls and furnishings that were earthy in colours. At the center of each table was a candlestand. Anjie’s favourite moment from the day would most definitely have to be the speeches given at the reception for they were so meaningful and touching. In that moment, she felt so emotional and happy all at once. Meanwhile, Purity Cakes provided a beautiful three-tiered cake elegantly decorated with twirls of roses at the side for the occassion.
It ended splendidly for the couple with dances throughtout the night. Anjie here would like to give a little advice to future brides. Try and not worry so much about the finer details during the year of planning for it simply won’t matter as much on the day. Embrace and enjoy it all while, and as much as, you can. Thanks again to Anjie and Angelo for this beautiful wedding album.
