“The best love is the kind that awakens the soul; that makes us reach for more, that plants the fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds.”
— The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks
In the warm sapphire waters of the Gulf of Thailand, Cambodia’s islands nestle like dazzling natural jewels. With unspoiled beaches and tranquility all around, Alana and Sam could not have chosen a better location to say I do that right here at the insanely gorgeous Song Saa Private Island Resort.
This head-over-heels for each other couple chose photographer Julian Abram Wainwright to capture their cherished memories of the day. When choosing a wedding photographer, it is essential to be sure he truly loves what he does — and that is Julian. Originally from Canada, Julian has been a photographer in Southeast Asia for over a decade. He is so in love with his job, that every day, he feels as though he is dreaming — and we feel as though we’re dreaming by looking at the absolutely stunning photos he captured of Alana, Sam, and their wedding day. From the vibrant colours of the pre-wedding shoot, to the day itself, it is safe to say that Alana and Sam will be swooning over their photos for all of the years to come.
With the peacefulness and serenity of Cambodia, Alana decided to take it all in by unwinding with a dip before the vows. After a relaxing morning, the preparations for their seaside wedding commenced.
Once the bride and groom finalised their finishing touches, they met under a gorgeous white canopy with lush greenery and floral decorations all around. It was here, with the sounds of the sea nearby and the sand under their toes, that they exchanged their vows and promised their eternal love to one another. Alana and Sam’s intimate gathering continued after the vows with Cambodian wedding traditions, delicious food, and toasts from the wedding party. With the gorgeous sunset, family and friends at their sides, and bubbly in hand, Alana and Sam are so lucky to have shared in this day in Cambodia’s islands.
