Venice, perfectly knowned as the city of gondolas and love. So it seems true when you factioned in the lovestory and lovely photos of Marisa and David. Brought to you by Uliana Rudich, their embrace and love portrayed synchronizes with the romantic air of Italy, delivering a passionate, tremulous and endless masterpiece.
Marisa is from Ukraine, David is Italian. Marisa is a professional model, who now lives and works in Milan, while David works in the banking sector. Shooting in spring in Venice, the photographers carefully thought out the image of a couple that would match the spirit of the city. Pastel colors with burgundy accent. Minimal details, only real feelings and the atmosphere of Venice in focus. But the most important was David’s proposal, to which he was preparing and very worried. With Marisa and David settling for morning shots, it was perfect since there was still no buzz of endless crowds of tourists. One of the touching and happy moments captured was that on the main square of the city – San Marco – David got on one knee and pronounced the most important words, and Marisa of course answered “YES”.
With a seducive glare, Marisa teases David with a linger of her finger. With some cheeky winks as well, the pictures were really romantic with a hint of playfulness.
Some shots were taken near the narrowed waterways, with brick coloured buildings creating dimensions and engaging the viewers with its depth. Using a blur bokeh at times to focus on Marisa, the album appeared more up close and personal. And with Marisa being a model, taking photos here flowed naturally.
Some of the photos were captured at a low angle with a wide angle lens to create a dramatic feeling and balance to the overall picture. With corners of water guiding the eye, we see Marisa and David in focus with the historically treasured backdrop of Venice as a support.
Dreamy moments on the bridge , kisses and the simple exchanges between the couples make the moment sweet . Not shy at all with the pictures, Marisa and David were so accustomed to each other that all of their interactions were not out of place.
The backdrop doesn’t need to be all the while complicate, some of the pictures just had Marisa standing in front of a wooden giant door. With an unconventional wedding bouquet, at first glance you might not consider this as a wedding shot, but rather a shot for a magazine. But with the red strip and that flowing gown with amazing details and scalloped sleeves, how could you not notice its a wedding album in making.
Grand arches frame some of the pictures as well. With ivory white pillars and off-yellow arches, the space emit a classical fairytale like vibe, transporting you back to ancient times. You can even imagine Marisa running down the hallway at a different era, an aristocrat on her way to an event held in Venice itself. And David, not to be forgotten is part of the night too.
Thanks again to Marisa and David for the beautiful album. We at La Bride wish you a really happy marriage.
