La Bride and Studio Impressions brings you a wedding of Jess and Jeremy in Australia at the Spicer’s Peak Lodge. Nature was at its finest here, bringing about beautiful photos amid the somewhat cloudy skies. Classic, timeless and elegant, they let the venue speak for itself.
Splurging on their venue, photographer and dresses. They also paid for guest accommodation so they could stay the night in a gorgeous lodge and celebrate with them the next morning for breakfast. With the ceremony and reception at the same place, the transportation expenditure was saved and they could focused it elsewhere vital.
It all started when they met during their daily routine Gym workout. What started as dates soon became more substantial. Surprising Jess with a holiday at Binna Burra when he came back from a 4 months’ overseas deployment, Jeremy was the most romantic partner you could dream of. He took Jess for a hike to a lookout and clearing over a mountain stream, and proposed on the rock ledge in front of the stunning view. After that, they celebrated with champagne and a delicious dinner at the mountaintop restaurant.
Jess’s Watters gown was from the Belladonna Bridal in Brisbane. Jess was looking for one with a really beautiful and intricate classic detailing, but still wanted something she could dance and party in and feel comfortable in all day. Dollhouse Makeup Artistry adorned her hair with braids and flowers from Blooms Bridal. Jess’s bridesmaids were in similar dresses of deep desaturated pink while their detailed beaded shoes were in cream.
Jeremy was all suited up looking striking in his navy suit. His groomsmen were in deep gray suits. Each of them had a boutonniere on their lapel made of cream rose. They waited patiently in front of the seated audience before Jess and her bridal team arrived for the wedding.
Jess was so nervous and excited that she even forgot to take her engagement ring off before the ceremony! In a hurry, she had to quickly take it off and put it on the other hand. Despite some minor flaws, they keep their perspective centered. A wedding is just one day, and things do go wrong; so they did their utmost to embrace it.
Cursive and quirky handwritten fonts summed up their stationary and a framed board with strings and pegs allowed guests to write off some advice to these newlyweds.
The reception was absolutely warm and comfy despite the gloomy weather and overcast skies outside. A little blue and yellow light added to the ambiance of the venue and glasses decorated with flowers were placed on the tables which were fully decorated with white and with a brass nameplate before it.
The cake was purchased from Special Moments Cakes Made with Love. Cream colored frosting decorated the cake in three different patterns for three different tiers topped off with pastel pink and cream white flowers. An amazing shot of them in monotone was taken in the dark as well.
