How Far in Advance Should I Book My Trial Make-up?

I suggest you should have your hair and makeup trial at least 6 months prior to your wedding. Firstly to secure the makeup artist of your choice, you don’t want to be disappointed that the makeup artist of choice is already booked on the same day as your wedding. Secondly a good time for your trial is once you have bought your dress, or when you are going for your final fitting.
This way you can view the complete look, and know how your hair and makeup will compliment your dress. I have clients book a trial 12 months prior to their wedding and have a second trial maybe 1 month before the day, just to reassure that their makeup and hairstyle choice is perfect.
